My name is Paul Wilhelm Schlömer, named after my grandfather Paul Wilhelm Schlömer. He was born in the city of Enschede (Netherlands) and lived from July 7, 1904 to December 1970.
I was born in Hengelo Overijssel (Netherlands) and currently live with my wife in the village De Lutte. We have two daughters.
In 1982 and 1983 I served in the Royal Military Police, after that I worked for five years as a chemical analyst. Then it was time for something else. I went to evening-class and I became a teacher in vocational education.
After more than fifteen years of teaching I became an education manager, which I did in various departments. Nowadays I have my own company and I teach, I examine and I am on an examination committee. It was time to take it a bit easier and get used to my upcoming retirement.
Luckily I have more than enough hobbies such as DIY, motorcycling, hiking, cooking, photography and playing the guitar.
